Summertime is always packed with activities and new experiences, and this summer is especially exciting for us in Shawano. Next week we’ll be breaking ground for the new ThedaCare Medical Center-Shawano, which will replace the existing Shawano Medical Center. It will be adjacent to the ThedaCare Physicians-Shawano clinic at County B and Highway 22.
We wanted you make you aware of a few items:
- Please pardon our dust. Construction will continue through 2015, at which time the new facility will open.

Since the construction zone is right next to the ThedaCare Physicians-Shawano clinic building, if you are a patient, please allow extra time to get to your appointment. All appointments and patient parking will continue to be available at the clinic, but the flow of traffic around the clinic may change as construction commences.

The original Shawano Medical Center will remain in operation as usual during the construction period.

The community groundbreaking event is being planned for July 11 from 12:30-3 p.m.
As health care providers, we are excited to offer our patients a modern medical center that is designed to be patient-focused and wellness-based. Most importantly, the new facility will have the soul of our community and its cultures embedded within it.
