Sara Mitchell, Physician Assistant, to Practice in Hometown of Clintonville
ThedaCare hired Sara Mitchell, PA-C, to work at ThedaCare Physicians-Clintonville. Sara provides quality family care to a wide range of patients.
Sara earned her undergraduate degree from the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse and her Master of Physician Assistant Studies degree from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. A certified health education specialist, Sara belongs to the American Academy of Physician Assistants and the Wisconsin Academy of Physician Assistants.
As someone who grew up in Clintonville, Sara is excited to be providing care in her hometown. Outside of work, she likes spending time with her family and friends. Sara loves being outdoors and enjoys biking, camping and snowshoeing.
ThedaCare™ Physicians includes more than 144 employed physicians and 70 nurse practitioners and physician assistants at 22 locations throughout the region and includes specialists in family medicine, internal medicine, pediatrics, sports medicine, rehabilitation, orthopedics and general surgery. There is also a FastCare clinic located in Shawano. ThedaCare Physicians is also the leader in implementing an electronic medical records system, including a patient portal called MyThedaCare, that allows patients to access their medical information, request appointments, refill prescriptions, and consult their physician from their home computer.
ThedaCare™ is a community health system consisting of seven hospitals: Appleton Medical Center, Theda Clark Medical Center, ThedaCare Medical Center-New London, Shawano Medical Center, and Riverside Medical Center in Waupaca. In addition, Community Health Network (CHN) and Wild Rose Memorial Hospital are integrating into ThedaCare. ThedaCare also includes ThedaCare Physicians, ThedaCare Behavioral Health, and ThedaCare at Home. ThedaCare is one of the largest employers in Northeast Wisconsin with more than 6,175 employees, with the CHN and Wild Rose employees joining ThedaCare in January 2015.
