ThedaCare has promoted Mark Thiel to vice president of diagnostics with responsibility for imaging and labs throughout the healthcare system.

In his new role, Thiel will work with leadership teams and physicians to create more efficient workflow while improving the quality of service delivered to patients.

Thiel joined ThedaCare in 2000 as an occupational therapist. Since 2005, he has served in several leadership roles including ThedaCare Improvement System facilitator, rehab services supervisor, and most recently as value stream director for the Spine and Orthopedic business lines.

Thiel has a bachelor’s degree in occupational therapy from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and a master’s degree in management from Cardinal Stritch University.
