George Negrete, MD, to Practice at ThedaCare Physicians-Waupaca
ThedaCare is pleased to welcome George Negrete, MD, a general surgery physician at ThedaCare Physicians-Waupaca. Dr. Negrete specializes in minimally invasive surgical interventions.
Earning his undergraduate degree from San Jose University, Dr. Negrete studied biology-physiology, psychology and chemistry. He received his medical degree at the University of Iowa Carver College of Medicine and completed his post-graduate residency training at the University of Illinois at Chicago Medical Center. Board-certified by the American Board of Surgery, Dr. Negrete belongs to the American College of Surgeons and the Society of American Gastrointestinal and Endoscopic Surgeons (SAGES).
Dr. Negrete is always up for an adventure as he loves to water ski, stand-up paddle board and travel. He once even mustered up the courage to run with the bulls on a trip to Pamplona, Spain.
