Sue Casperson, Shawano Medical Center HIM and registration manager, has been elected to a 3-year term at the Wisconsin Health Information Management Association (WHIMA) as president-elect. In July 2014, she assumes the role as president, and in 2015, she becomes past president. She has served on the WHIMA board for two years as a director.
Casperson will represent Wisconsin at the American Health Information Management Association’s annual convention serving in the House of Delegates. Casperson joins other ThedaCare leaders in leadership roles within WHIMA, including Beth Malchetske, ThedaCare HIM director and WHIMA past president, and Carleen Riemer, HIM manager for Appleton Medical Center and Theda Clark, current board of directors member.
