Former ThedaStar patients dad writes a thank you on 15th anniversary of daughters crash

“It's been 15 years - June 12, 2002 - since my daughter Tansy Sweet-Lederhaus was involved in a motor vehicle accident east of Clintonville on Hwy. 156.

“It's been 15 years – June 12, 2002 – since my daughter Tansy Sweet-Lederhaus was involved in a motor vehicle accident east of Clintonville on Hwy. 156. She was flown to Theda Clark Medical Center on board ThedaStar. Tansy suffered life-threatening injuries and her best friend was killed in the crash.

“By the grace of God, and thanks to the wonderful care the ThedaStar team and the health care professionals at the hospital provided, Tansy lived.

“She went on to Bellin College of Nursing and is now employed as a registered nurse in Green Bay. She's married and has two young children.

“My sincere thanks to all who continue to do this important work for the surrounding communities.”

With gratitude,

Tim Sweet
