Emily’s Story: Doctors and staff treat her with compassion, understanding, respect

Emily has been seeing Dr. (Leonard) Leveille for at least 20 years. When she was born, we were blessed; she didn’t have many health issues. But as she’s gotten older, her health has deteriorated. In the past 14 years, she’s experienced a host of health issues including rheumatoid arthritis, Lupus, lung problems, congestive heart failure, diabetes, and ear, nose, and throat issues.
We’re so grateful to have Dr. Leveille as her primary care physician. He coordinates her care with numerous specialists, and every specialist he has referred us to has been as compassionate and caring as he has. The ability ThedaCare has to share information about Emily’s health among all the many doctors she sees has been a blessing.
Dr. Leveille and his staff have been like family to us. They fully understand Emily’s situation and would do anything to help us. We take great comfort knowing Emily’s needs are addressed and handled with such compassion.
