Weight of the Fox Valley will hold a kick-off event Thurs., June 5, at Bridgewood Resort Hotel & Conference Center, 1000 Cameron Way, Neenah. This new community initiative will support Calumet, Outagamie and Winnebago County residents of all ages to achieve and maintain a healthy body weight.
This free event is open to the public and will introduce the Weight of the Fox Valley initiative and kick-off two of its six proposed action teams. The first, Active Communities Action Team, will advocate for policies and initiatives that create recreational opportunities and physical activities such as biking, walking and gardening. The second, Worksite Action Team, will promote improving employee and family health through worksite wellness programs.
Weight of the Fox Valley is looking for community members to join them at the kick-off:

Registration and breakfast begin at 7:30 am followed by an informational session from 8- 11am.

A lunch and launch session will follow for those interested in participating in the Active Communities or Worksite Action Teams.
