Annual Gala to Support Online Patient Resource
The Wolf River Area Healthcare Foundation’s 10th Annual Gala Dinner will help raise money to support patient care improvements.
Proceeds from the Casino Royale Night on September 17 will benefit MyThedaCare, a popular online portal for New London area patients that allows them to communicate with doctors and check their test results and health history. This provides patients with more access and interaction with their doctors and medical providers “ThedaCare Physicians New London call group was selected because of our providers engagement with change” said Cheryl Seelig, practice administrator at ThedaCare Physicians-New London. “The size of our group is also manageable with the hospital to accommodate these type of changes.”
ThedaCare is a national leader in incorporating technology and patient health and has been named among the nation’s Most Wired health systems by Hospitals & Health Networks magazine, the journal of the American Hospital Association, for the past 12 years.
Seelig said the proceeds from the dinner will continue to improve communication between patients and their providers. “The MyThedacare website redesign will allow patients to have more input into their health care,” she said. “This engagement will allow patient to make better choice and get healthier.”

The Wolf River Area Healthcare Foundation was founded in 2003. Its mission is to seek and secure financial resources that ensure New London Family Medical Center has state-of-the-art facilities, equipment, education and outreach. New London Family Medical Center and The Wolf River Area Healthcare Foundation serve Waupaca, Outagamie and surrounding counties.
New London Family Medical Center is a 25-bed, critical access hospital serving New London and nearby communities in Outagamie and Waupaca counties.
