Foot Care Diabetes Focus of Shawano Program

Medical Expert to Offer Tips to Prevent Complications Associated with Diabetes

Managing diabetes to prevent foot care complications can be an ongoing challenge. People living with diabetes can attend the free community program, “Steps for Good Foot Care in Diabetes” led by Barbara Monty, LPN, of ThedaCare Physicians-Shawano, to learn foot care tips.

The free educational program begins at 9 a.m. on Thurs., May 9, in the Pine Room at Shawano Medical Center, 309 N. Bartlett St. in Shawano.

For more information about this free, one-hour presentation, contact Shawano Medical Center at (715) 526-2111 between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m., Monday through Friday. No registration is necessary.
