Class Launches Safe Babysitters

The Safe Sitter Program provides education to children between the ages of 11-13. Pre-teens wanting to babysit can take a class offered by ThedaCare. This class teaches injury prevention and treatment, CPR, management of problem behavior and the business side of baby-sitting.

The Safe Sitter Program provides education to children between the ages of 11-13. Pre-teens wanting to babysit can take a class offered by ThedaCare. This class teaches injury prevention and treatment, CPR, management of problem behavior and the business side of baby-sitting.

This program is co-sponsored by Riverside Medical Center Auxiliary and the cost is $25 per child. Teens will be required to attend both classes Oct. 12 and 19 to receive certification. The class will be held at Riverside Medical Center in the 900 building in Waupaca.
