Accepting the check on behalf of the Berlin Area Health Foundation are Brian Floeter and Karen Simolon, along with many of the participating employees of Ripon Athletic.
For the second year in a row, Ripon Athletic employees have gone above and beyond in supporting the community. Team members at this Berlin organization showed their giving spirit with various fundraisers they created for the month of October – designing and selling breast cancer awareness T-shirts, along with a raffle, lunches, and a bake sale. This group raised $1745 – and in support of their own employees struggling with medical situations, they chose the “Helping Hands for Cancer” fund as all the monies stays local. The Helping Hands for Cancer fund is with the Berlin Area Health Foundation (formerly known as Community Health Network Foundation). This fund keeps all money local to help those dealing with cancer in our communities.
It’s amazing to see when a group of dedicated employees team up on a plan, great things can happen!
