ThedaCare Chair Welcomes Three New Members to Board of Trustees

Loux, Pfeifer and Price Joining Governing Body

Three community leaders will soon join the ThedaCare Board of Trustees, the governing body for the local, not-for-profit health care organization.

Alan Loux, John Pfeifer and Dr. Steven Price have been recently elected to the Board, announced Jim Kotek, Chair of the ThedaCare Board of Trustees and President and CEO of Menasha Corporation.

“The ThedaCare Board of Trustees is proud to support the organization’s mission toimprove the health and well-being of our communities,” said Kotek. “As a governing board, our role is to help ensure ThedaCare can advance its mission by providing financial and quality oversight, as well as strategic decision-making in support of this compelling mission and vision.”

Alan Loux is President and CEO of Rawhide Youth Services, a faith-based behavioral and mental health agency serving teens and young adults throughout Wisconsin. He joined Rawhide in 2017. Loux holds an undergraduate degree in Business/Economics from Wheaton College and an MBA in Marketing from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. Loux has held various leadership positions with JLG Industries, Inc., an Oshkosh Corporation company, Direct Supply, Inc. and Kimberly-Clark Corporation. Loux also serves on the Board of Directors of the Wisconsin Association of Family & Children’s Agencies (WAFCA) and on the Advisory Board of InitiativeOne.

“I am grateful for the opportunity to develop partnerships that support the vision and passion for a strong, healthy community as part of the ThedaCare Board of Trustees,” said Loux. “It takes many organizations, leaders and community members to achieve the goal of better health for all of those living in our region. I am proud to do my part to achieve that goal.”

John Pfeifer is Oshkosh Corporation’s President and CEO, and is a member of the Company’s Board of Directors, positions he has held since April 2021. Prior to his appointment as CEO, Pfeifer served as President and Chief Operating Officer. Before joining Oshkosh Corporation, he served 13 years with Brunswick Corporation, most recently as senior vice president and president of Mercury Marine.

In addition to the ThedaCare Board of Trustees, Pfeifer is on the board of The Manitowoc Company, and is a board member at the National Exchange Bank and Trust. He holds a bachelor’s degree in economics and Japanese language from the University of Michigan.

“We are fortunate to have a local health system where patients and families can receive comprehensive care, close to home,” said Pfeifer. “I am grateful to serve an organization that has deep roots in our community, and look forward to offering ideas to support ThedaCare leaders and teams as they continue to provide care for our communities.”

Dr. Steven Price is the founder and managing partner of the Neuroscience Group. A neurologist, Dr. Price specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of neurological disorders of the brain, spine and nervous system such as stroke, headache, multiple sclerosis, Parkinson’s disease and other movement disorders, dizziness and seizures.

Dr. Price earned his degree from Northwestern University and completed his residency at Northwestern University Medical School. He is board certified by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology and the National Board of Medical Examiners, Diplomate. He is also an active member of the American Academy of Neurology and the National Headache Foundation.

Loux, Pfeifer and Price will begin their three-year terms with the ThedaCare Board of Trustees in February 2023.
