The ThedaCare Foundation -Sturgeon Shuffle is a competitive 10K and 5K run/walk for all athletes, whether you are a serious racer or simply want to “go the distance”. The course will run along County X west of New London paralleling the beautiful Wolf River. The return portion of the course will take the runners/walkers along the Sturgeon Trail (a paved trail) during the time of the year that historically sees the unique “running” of the Sturgeon.
Stepping On is a free seven-week workshop using adult education to develop the knowledge and skills needed to help older adults prevent falls. In conjunction with the THRIVES (“Teaming for Health & Resiliency Improvement via Education and Support”).
“Living Well with Chronic Conditions” is a six-week workshop ideal for those with conditions such as diabetes, arthritis, high blood pressure, heart disease, chronic pain or anxiety.
ThedaCare Orthopedic Care is offering a new sports program for young male athletes looking to improve their health and strength. “Sports Programs for the Male Youth Athlete” is designed for boys age 11-13. The six-week course runs 5:45-7:15 p.m. on Tuesdays beginning April 5.
