The community is invited to participate in an exciting groundbreaking event for the new ThedaCare Medical Center-Shawano on Thurs., July 11, from 12:30 to 3 p.m. The event is called The Big Dig and kids and adults will have the chance to crawl right into the seat of a crane, backhoe or digger.
Approximately 70 to 80 percent of new mothers experience some negative feelings or mood swings after the birth of their child. “Baby blues” hit forcefully within four to five days after the birth and often disappear within 14 days after delivery.

Construction of the new $50 million ThedaCare Medical Center-Shawno was approved at the June 18 meeting of the ThedaCare Board of Trustees in Appleton.
