Julie Kressin has accepted the role of director of business integration for ThedaCare in Shawano. She will be responsible for integrating the separate ThedaCare Physicians-Shawano clinic with that of the new ThedaCare Medical Center-Shawano, slated for completion in early 2015.

ThedaCare is helping a school garden project take root in Oshkosh. A $1,670 donation from the health care system will be used to design, create, build and maintain a school garden project at Washington Elementary School in Oshkosh. Growing Oshkosh, Inc. will take ownership of the project to help get it started, said Dani Stolley, founder and president of the non-profit, organic urban Oshkosh farm that also works with schools to start their own gardens.
Because walking is such an integral part of managing diabetes, the Waupaca Diabetes Support group will offer a unique program entitled “Let’s Move.” This event will be a “walking support group meeting” and takes place on Tuesday, June 3 at 1 p.m. Participants should plan to meet the Diabetes Education office in the 900 building at Riverside Medical Center.
