Mammograms Best Way to Spot Breast Cancer

In about 20 minutes, a woman can be screened at Wild Rose Community Memorial Hospital to discover if her breasts show any sign of cancer, using the hospital’s digital mammography machine. The exams are read by a radiologist in Wild Rose or at Berlin Memorial Hospital, with results delivered in 24 to 48 hours.

Night Out for Womens Health

Registrations are now being accepted for the 16th annual Community Health Network ‘Night Out for Women’s Health’ event, which will be held on Wednesday, September 30th at Pillsbury Hall on the grounds of the Green Lake Conference Center. The agenda for this year’s event includes a keynote address by Biggest Loser® Season 14 contestant Lisa Rambo. Rambo’s talk, entitled, “Don't Wait! Don't Settle and Never Quit!!!” will provide an inspiring message about her journey on both the Biggest Loser® Ranch and at home and the complete lifestyle change she and her family made. She will be joined by CHN Orthopedic Surgeon Brian Zirgibel, MD who will inform attendees about various orthopedic issues and their latest treatment options, and Thrivent Financial Associates Cathy Hargrave and Sarah Kasuboski, who will discuss financial strategies for women.
