Riverside Health Foundation Awards Scholarships

The Riverside Health Foundation has awarded scholarships to Waupaca-area residents who plan to pursue careers in healthcare.

$16,000 Awarded to Students Pursuing Healthcare Careers

The Riverside Health Foundation has awarded scholarships to Waupaca-area residents who plan to pursue careers in healthcare.  

“These students are the future of the healthcare system,” said Vance Linden, Chair of the Scholarship Committee of the Riverside Health Foundation Board of Trustees. “These scholarships will ease some of the financial burden of school so they can focus on their careers.”

The board administers three scholarship funds that were established to honor Dr. Marshall and Mary Boudry; Isabelle Rowe; and Nancy B. Salan.

The Dr. Marshall and Mary Boudry Memorial Scholarship is available to graduating high school seniors who plan on attending a four-year college and are seeking a career in a healthcare related field. This year’s recipients will each receive $1,000:

  • Morgan Eilers, Weyauwega, who plans to attend St. Norbert College in Green Bay
  • Logan Erdmann, Scandinava, who plans to attend St. Norbert College in Green Bay
  • Natalie Gauerke, Iola, who plans to attend the University of Wisconsin-Lacrosse
  • Sierra Patzke, Waupaca, who plans to attend Marquette University

The Nancy B. Salan Memorial Nursing Scholarship is available for those who are seeking a career as a registered nurse. This scholarship is renewable and non-traditional students are encouraged to apply. This year’s recipients will each receive $1,000:

  • Mindy Angsten, Pine River, who plans to attend Fox Valley Technical College
  • Emily Nelson, Waupaca, who plans to attend Bellin College in Green Bay
  • Rachel Tilley, Manawa, who plans to attend Fox Valley Technical College
  • Michelle Waller, Almond, who plans to attend Fox Valley Technical College

The Isabelle Rowe Nursing Scholarship is available to the non-traditional student seeking to become a nurse. This year’s recipients will each receive $1,000:

  • Taylor Davidson, Waupaca, who plans to attend Fox Valley Technical College
  • Jasmine Jensen, Waupaca, who plans to attend Fox Valley Technical College
  • Amber Nusz, Waupaca, who plans to attend Mid-State State Technical College
  • Samantha Schmidt, Waupaca, who plans to attend Fox Valley Technical College
  • Dana Shambeau, Waupaca, who plans to attend Fox Valley Technical College
  • Amanda Stoltz, Amherst Junction, who plans to attend North Central Technical College
  • Rachel Tilley, Manawa, who plans to attend Fox Valley Technical College
  • Nikki Vergauwen, Waupaca, who plans to attend Northeast Technical College in Green Bay
