Pregnancy Prep 101

Whether you’re a first-time mom or dad, a parent with four kids or a couple contemplating pregnancy, this class can help! It provides an informational overview for planning a healthy pregnancy from the get-go-dietary and exercise recommendations to tips for promoting general health and mental wellness.

People thinking about having a baby – from first-time moms or dads, to parents of several children to couples contemplating pregnancy – can get an informational overview for planning a healthy pregnancy from the start by attending the free community presentation, “Pregnancy Prep 101.” Kathryn Jacobe, MD, and Elizabeth Menzel, MD, of UW Fox Valley Family Medicine Residency, UW School of Medicine and Public Health, will offer dietary and exercise recommendations and tips for promoting general health and mental wellness for individuals contemplating pregnancy.

The free program begins at 6:30 p.m. on Wed., Oct. 30, in the Ironwood Room at Appleton Medical Center.
