“Healthy Living with Diabetes” is one of the four evidence-based classes offered this spring in Waupaca. The research proven, peer-led program helps those with type 2 diabetes or pre-diabetes learn skills for managing their diabetes.
“Diabetics can learn to take charge of this disease to have a better quality of life,” said Deb Aberg, program peer facilitator.
The class is offered 1-3:30 p.m. for six consecutive Tuesdays starting Feb. 23 at the Maasch Education Center, ThedaCare Medical Center-Waupaca, 902 Building. Class size is limited and at least eight participants are needed. Pre-registration is required. To register, call (715) 258-1119 or visit the ThedaCare website at www.thedacare.org.
