Vascular General Surgeon Joins Hospital

Alexander Tretinyak, MD, is now on the medical staff at Appleton Medical Center as a vascular/general surgeon. He specializes in procedures for aneurysms, vein problems and peripheral artery disease. He is a member of Fox Valley Surgical Associates.

Appleton Medical Center Welcomes Alexander Tretinyak, MD

Alexander Tretinyak, MD, is now on the medical staff at Appleton Medical Center as a vascular/general surgeon. He specializes in procedures for aneurysms, vein problems and peripheral artery disease. He is a member of Fox Valley Surgical Associates.

Board certified in vascular and general surgery and also registered in vascular ultrasound, Dr. Tretinyak graduated with a bachelor’s degree from the University of St. Thomas. He earned his medical degree at the University of Minnesota, where he also pursued his residency training in general surgery. He completed a vascular surgery fellowship at the University of Chicago. Dr. Tretinyak was a recipient of the Top Doctor award in vascular surgery for 2008, 2012 and 2013 by Minneapolis St. Paul Magazine. His professional affiliations include the Society for Vascular Surgery and Midwestern Vascular Surgical Society.

When he’s not working, Dr. Tretinyak likes to keep active through sports and time spent with his busy family.
