Three new community members have joined the ThedaCare Quality Council. The Quality Council oversees ThedaCare’s commitment to high-quality patient care and the safety of patients and employees.

Community Members Join Panel that Oversees Safety, Quality

Three new community members have joined the ThedaCare Quality Council. The Quality Council oversees ThedaCare’s commitment to high-quality patient care and the safety of patients and employees.

The board’s new members are Jim Kotek of the Menasha Corporation, Russ Kuehn of Berlin, and Terry Timm of Thrivent Financial.

The new board members join Ray Georgen, MD, of Surgical Associates-Neenah; Mark Hermans, MD, vice president of medical affairs for Appleton Medical Center and Theda Clark Medical Center; Greg Johnson, MD, of the Kaukauna Clinic; Greg Long, MD, ThedaCare’s chief medical officer; Dave Poeschl, district administrator for the Waupaca School District; Jenny Redman-Schell, chief operating officer for ThedaCare physician services; Norma Turk, MD, a hospitalist with ThedaCare; Cyril Walsh, MD, of Appleton Medical Center; Marilyn Wiesner of Neenah; and Jim Williams of New London.

Poeschl serves as council’s chair.
