ThedaCare WELCOMES SHANELI FERNANDO, MD
Specializing in Radiation Oncology in Appleton
Shaneli Fernando, MD, has joined ThedaCare Regional Cancer Center in Appleton where she will practice radiation oncology.
Dr. Fernando received her bachelor’s degree in biology from Brown University in Rhode Island, and earned her medical degree from the University of Illinois at Chicago. She completed her radiation oncology residency training at the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor. Dr. Fernando is certified through the American Board of Radiology.
Outside of work, Dr. Fernando enjoys time with her family. Her other interests include spending time outdoors, attending theater events and traveling. She often visits extended family in Sri Lanka.
