Lisa Wilson, NP, to Specialize in Cardiovascular Care
ThedaCare has hired Lisa Wilson, NP, who joined the staff of the Appleton Heart Institute within Appleton Medical Center. She will also practice at Theda Clark Medical Center and Shawano Medical Center.
Board certified through the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners, Lisa specializes in cardiovascular care. She earned her bachelor’s degree in nursing from the University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh and completed her master’s degree at Concordia University Wisconsin in the family nurse practitioner program. Lisa is a member of the American Association of Nurse Practitioners.
A main element within Lisa’s approach to care is collaboration. She aims to work closely with patients in creating the best plan for treatment based on their individual circumstances. Outside of work, Lisa loves to spend time with her husband and kids and get out on the golf course.
Appleton Medical Center (AMC) is a 160-bed acute care hospital that opened in 1958. In addition to general medical and surgical care, services include the Appleton Heart Institute, which was the first and most advanced cardiac care program to be established north of Madison and Milwaukee more than 30 years ago.
