  • ThedaCare will host a public open house Sat., Feb. 11, 1-4 p.m. at the new clinic.

Kurt Bloomhuff, MD, is eager to introduce patients to the new facility. Whereas the current Neenah clinics were built for a different era and set of expectations, “The design of the new clinic is all about building stronger patient relationships and enhancing the patient experience—with more space, more light, and more privacy,” Dr. Bloomhuff said.

Features of the new clinic include easy access south of the Winchester Road/II exit off Highway 41; a full service lab, imaging services including mammograms, bone density testing, and X-rays; the only ThedaCare clinic site to offer 3D mammograms (outside of Encircle Health in Appleton and ThedaCare Regional Medical Center-Neenah Breast Care);ThedaCare Cancer Care services located in the northern wing of the new building, including new patient consults, follow up visits, and chemotherapy; and an accessible drive-up canopy at the main entrance.

Dr. Bloomhuff sees the opportunity for more collaboration at the larger Neenah clinic site, too. “We eliminate duplicate services at multiple clinics, and we’ll work together to mentor younger colleagues and collaborate on patient cases. Providers with special expertise can advise and teach others in the group,” he said.

Patients should remember to go to the new clinic at 333 N. Green Bay Road for any appointments occurring after Feb. 19. To reach the clinic by phone, call ThedaCare Physicians-Neenah family medicine at 920.729.6088 or ThedaCare Physicians-Neenah internal medicine at 920.725.2070.
