ThedaCare Names Knapp Sustainability Leader

ThedaCare has named Jeanine Knapp as its new sustainability leader. In her new position, Knapp oversees sustainability programs throughout ThedaCare, from energy efficiency and recycling efforts to programs designed to serve more local foods at its seven hospitals.

She will Oversee Efforts to Reduce Organization’s Carbon Footprint

ThedaCare has named Jeanine Knapp as its new sustainability leader. In her new position, Knapp oversees sustainability programs throughout ThedaCare, from energy efficiency and recycling efforts to programs designed to serve more local foods at its seven hospitals.

Knapp has extensive experience with sustainability initiatives, including her most recent role as the sustainability manager at Evergreen Credit Union. Prior to that, Knapp served as the Outagamie County recycling coordinator and a solid waste specialist with the Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources.

Knapp earned her bachelor’s degree in economics and public and administrative affairs from the University of Wisconsin-Green Bay and her master’s degree in public affairs from UW with certification in energy analysis and policy from the UW’s Nelson Institute.

For more than 100 years, ThedaCare™ has been committed to finding a better way to deliver serious and complex healthcare to patients throughout Northeast Wisconsin. The organization serves over 200,000 patients annually and employs more than 6,800 healthcare professionals throughout the region.
