Website Supports Transparent Approach to Keep Community Current and Answer Questions

The ThedaCare new “Journey” web page is now live. The page –ThedaCare Journey – is designed to support community engagement and share information to keep community members and partners apprised as ThedaCare explores the possibility of bringing its two Fox Cities hospitals into one premier, regional healthcare destination.

“Our exploration of future healthcare facilities in the Fox Cities has generated a lot of conversation, and we’re dedicating this as a place where interested parties can follow along on our journey,” said Dean Gruner, MD, president and CEO of ThedaCare. “We’re committed to being as transparent as possible.”

Through the Journey web page, which includes several sub-pages and linked content, ThedaCare invites residents to explore how, together, we can move our community forward. The pages feature:

  • Details about the exploration process
  • Feedback from the community forums to-date and graphs of question responses
  • A video series with Dr. Gruner talking about the importance of involving the community in planning for the future of local healthcare
  • An easy link to journey@thedacare.org so the community can share feedback directly with ThedaCare
  • Areas for future updates

Since early summer, ThedaCare has participated in more than two dozen community conversations and engaged more than 425 people. The Journey web page is the next step in that outreach.
