Sterns Joins ThedaCare as Chief of Staff

He will Work with Executive Leadership Team on Key Initiatives

Brian Sterns joined ThedaCare as chief of staff.

As chief of staff, Sterns works with the executive leadership team to support implementation of key initiatives; works closely with hospital leaders and operational vice presidents to support initiatives and operations; and serves as a resource to identify opportunities for innovation and assess new opportunities that align with the organization’s strategic directions and goals. Sterns reports directly to ThedaCare President and CEO Imran Andrabi, MD.

“Brian is a servant leader, who puts people first. He is very easy to work with and will ensure that we have the right processes in place to enable us to create meaningful traction within the organization in reaching our goals,” Dr. Andrabi said.

Before joining ThedaCare, Sterns was director of network operations and program management for Mercy Health North Region in Ohio. He also served as Mercy Health’s Toledo’s IT relationship executive, IT controller and manager of the project office. Before joining Mercy Health, Sterns was a senior auditor with Ernst and Young.

Sterns has a bachelor’s of business administration from the University of Toledo and master’s in business administration from the University of Michigan-Dearborn. He is a certified public accountant and a certified information systems auditor.
