Main Entrances, Medical Office Building Names Announced
ThedaCare recently changed the names of both of its Fox Cities hospitals – ThedaCare Regional Medical Center-Appleton (formerly Appleton Medical Center) and ThedaCare Regional Medical Center-Neenah (formerly Theda Clark Medical Center.)
With the new names and branding comes more clear external and internal way finding. To better help patients navigate their care before they arrive at either hospital, ThedaCare is announcing the new names of key entrances and buildings.
In Appleton, some of the biggest changes are:
Old —- New
East Care Pavilion —- Main Entrance
Medical Office Building South —- South Building
Former Cancer Center (900 E Grant) —- East Building
Appleton Heart Institute —- Cardiovascular Care
ThedaCare Orthopedic Care —- Orthopedic Care
Medical Office Building West —- West Building
Groth Surgery Center —- Outpatient Surger
Chest Pain Center —- Chest Pain and Resuscitation Center
Cafeteria —- Fresh Market Café
PT/OT/Rehab —- Therapy Services
Birth Services —- Family Birth Care
In Neenah, patients can be directed to three places: main entrance, Children’s Hospital of Wisconsin-Fox Valley, or the Emergency Department. Other changes include:

Medical Office Pavilion —- 100 Building / 200 Building(Mailing addresses remain 100/200 Theda Clark Medical Plaza)
Breast Care Center —- Breast Care
Birth Services —- Family Birth Care
North Entrance —- No longer marked as such

ThedaCare has seven hospitals located in Appleton, Neenah, Berlin, Waupaca, Shawano, New London and Wild Rose as well as 34 clinics in 14 counties. ThedaCare is the first in Wisconsin to be a Mayo Clinic Care Network Member, giving our specialists the ability to consult with Mayo Clinic experts on a patient’s care. ThedaCare is a non-profit healthcare organization with a level II trauma center, comprehensive cancer treatment, stroke and cardiac programs as well as a foundation dedicated to community service. The ThedaCare Regional Cancer Center in Appleton opened in February.
