Russ Kuehn, the chairman of the board at First National Bank in Berlin, has joined the ThedaCare Quality Council. Kuehn is one of three new community members to join the Quality Council, which oversees ThedaCare’s commitment to high-quality patient care and the safety of patients and employees.

Kuehn began his banking career in 1970 and retired as president and CEO of First National Bank of Berlin in 2010. He currently serves as the chairman of Community Health Network’s Quality and Risk Committee. Kuehn said he plans to bring that experience to his new role on the ThedaCare Quality Council.

“My personal philosophy is ‘people don’t care how much you know until they know how much you care.’ I cannot think of a better venue to promote this philosophy more than in healthcare and with ThedaCare,” Kuehn said. “I am excited about my role as a team member on a committee that is responsible for making sure our healthcare is of the highest quality.”

In addition to Kuehn, the other new members are Jim Kotek of the Menasha Corporation, and Terry Timm of Thrivent Financial.
