Meet and Greet planned for Oct. 15
ThedaCare announced that Kathryn Hanson, APNP, has joined ThedaCare-Physicians-Weyauwega as its full-time provider. She will continue the care provided by Roy Buchholz, MD, who recently retired.
Hanson provides care for pediatric to geriatric patients and has a special interest in health promotion and sports medicine. She has a master’s degree as an advanced practice nurse prescriber (APNP) and is board certified as a family nurse practitioner (FNP) with the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners. Nursing experience prior to completion of her APNP/FNP includes renal and cardiac transplant care, vascular surgical care, ICU, and family practice nursing.
Hanson’s clinic hours will be on Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday with Jay Rust, PA-C, who will continue to see patients on Tuesdays until January 2015. Hanson will then see patients Tuesday mornings and Rust will be available Tuesday afternoons. Rust also provides care at ThedaCare Physicians-New London.
To allow Hanson to introduce herself in person and answer questions, ThedaCare Physicians-Weyauwega is holding a meet-and-greet from 4 to 6 p.m. on Wed., Oct. 15. The public as well as existing New London and Weyauwega patients are encouraged to attend.
