Emergency Medicine Physicians Join ThedaCare

ThedaCare welcomes Robin K. Purdy, DO, and Sarah Holets, DO, two physicians who specialize in emergency medicine at ThedaCare Medical Center-Waupaca.

Dr. Purdy received his bachelor’s degree in pharmacy at Drake University and earned his doctor of osteopathic medicine degree at Des Moines University College of Osteopathic Medicine. He serves as a fellow and a member of the American Academy of Family Physicians and is a two-time recipient of the Centegra Physician of Excellence Award. Dedicated to patient care, Dr. Purdy started his career as a pharmacist and practiced family medicine for more than 30 years.

Dr. Holets earned her bachelor’s degree in biology from Notre Dame College. She received her doctor of osteopathic medicine degree at Midwestern University-Arizona College of Osteopathic Medicine and completed residency training at Kingman Regional Medical Center. Her professional affiliations include the American Osteopathic Association and the American College of Osteopathic Family Physicians. Outside of work, Dr. Holets enjoys everything from sports and cooking to writing and sketching.

The emergency medicine team Dr. Purdy and Dr. Holets will join at ThedaCare Medical Center-Waupaca includes Dale Bertram, MD; Francesca DeTrana, DO, and Priscilla George, MD.
