Family Physician to Treat Patients in Waupaca
ThedaCare welcomes Dorrie Happ, MD, a family medicine physician at ThedaCare Physicians-Waupaca, who has special interest in obstetrics.
Dr. Happ treats patients of all ages and especially enjoys women’s health, lactation support, pediatrics, adolescent care and chronic disease management. She earned her bachelor’s degree in biomedical engineering from Northwestern University and then received her medical degree from the University of Wisconsin School of Medicine and Public Health. Dr. Happ completed her residency training through the Duluth Family Medicine Residency Program, a University of Minnesota affiliate. Throughout her education and career, she has worked on several publications and patents. Her professional affiliations include the American Academy of Family Physicians and the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecologists.
When she isn’t working, Dr. Happ likes to spend time with her family and get outside to bike, swim and ski. Cooking is another favorite pastime and she is regularly testing healthy, creative recipes.
