ThedaCare Opens Walk In Care At Encircle Health

The new location is open 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday through Friday and 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday.

Focus Is on Providing Convenient, Accessible Healthcare

APPLETON, Wis. – Today ThedaCare opened a new walk-in care location at Encircle Health, 2500 East Capitol Drive in Appleton.

The new location is open 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday through Friday and 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday. Walk-in care at Encircle Health will treat a wide range of minor medical conditions, including:

  • fractures and sprains
  • bronchitis and upper respiratory disease
  • back and neck pain
  • cold and flu symptoms
  • minor wounds and lacerations
  • ear infections
  • abdominal pain
  • rashes
  • fever
  • minor infections
  • sinus pain and sore throat
  • “When patients have health issues, it disrupts their lives,” said Jenny Redman-Schell, senior vice president of ambulatory and post acute services at ThedaCare. “They want to get in quickly, find the care they need and be on their way. We’re continuing to add options like walk-in care locations to meet their needs for convenience.”

    Encircle Health Walk-In Care joins ThedaCare walk-in care locations in Berlin, Shawano and Waupaca. It also complements ThedaCare FastCare clinics in the Fox Cities.

    “These options, combined with online assistance such as MyThedaCare and e-Visits, are great examples of how we’re delivering excellent care for patients in a manner and place that makes the most sense for them,” said Redman-Schell.
