GRANTS TO BOOST COMMUNITY HEALTH PROJECTS
ThedaCare Medical Center-New London Making Funds Available
Non-profit organizations and individuals looking to make an impact on the community’s health are invited to apply to a new grant program created by ThedaCare Medical Center-New London.
“This is an opportunity for us to partner with community members and organizations to enhance the health and well-being of our area residents and communities,” said Paul Ziemer, board member of ThedaCare Medical Center-New London.
The grant program is dedicated to supporting and enhancing community health, healthcare outreach, education, patient care, rehabilitation and wellness services that contribute to a better quality of life for citizens in Wolf River region, including Clintonville, Embarrass, Fremont, Hortonville, Manawa, Marion, New London, Shiocton and Weyauwega.
To be considered for funding, the applicant must be a 501c3 and the project should serve an identified and proven health need in the communities served by the New London hospital. The project may involve collaborative efforts with other community providers and organizations. In addition, there must be a justified cost with defined measurable outcomes.
Grants from $500 to $20,000 will be considered and awarded based on available funds, the demand for funding of other projects, and the justifiable cost of the requested grant. Applications for this annual grant cycle must be received by December 1, 2018.
