Bariatric Information Session Set for Nov 9

Bariatric surgery can do a lot more than shrink someone’s waistline – it can also substantially improve a person’s health and help people get off medications for high blood pressure and diabetes.

Bariatric surgery can do a lot more than shrink your waistline – it can also substantially improve your health and help people get off medications for high blood pressure and diabetes.

Recent studies have also shown bariatric surgery is an effective treatment for type II diabetes and other diseases related to obesity, including high blood pressure and sleep apnea. Surgeons from Midwest Bariatric Solutions, who perform bariatric surgery at Theda Clark Medical Center in Neenah, will offer a free informational session about bariatric surgery will be held from 4:15-7:30 p.m. on Mon., Nov. 9, at the Fond du Lac Holiday Inn, 625 W. Rolling Meadows Drive.
