Weight-Loss Surgery Options Discussed on Oct. 26, Nov. 23, Dec. 14
Bariatric surgery can do a lot more than shrink your waistline – it can also substantially improve your health and help people get off medications for high blood pressure and diabetes.
Recent studies have also shown bariatric surgery is an effective treatment for type II diabetes and other diseases related to obesity, including high blood pressure and sleep apnea. Surgeons from Midwest Bariatric Solutions, who perform bariatric surgery at ThedaCare Regional Medical Center in Neenah, will offer free informational sessions about bariatric surgery will be held from 4:15 to 7:30 p.m. on Mon., Oct. 26, Mon., Nov. 23, and Mon., Dec. 14 in the 4th Floor Aylward Bariatric Conference Room at ThedaCare, 130 Second St., Neenah.
