Healthy Eating at Hospital Cafeteria Bobs Story

After my girlfriend passed away, I became depressed. I started eating and gaining lots of weight. One day I looked at myself and said, “enough.” My job is delivering office supplies and pharmaceuticals including to the hospital.

“Losing weight has helped my back, my knees, everything. Mostly, though, I have so much more energy! Energy to work and work out! I feel younger, and I’m a better person for sure.” — Bob

After my girlfriend passed away, I became depressed. I started eating and gaining lots of weight. One day I looked at myself and said, “enough.” My job is delivering office supplies and pharmaceuticals including to the hospital. So instead of eating fast food, I started stopping in and eating at the hospital cafeteria during daily deliveries. I started eating soup, then the fresh fruits and salads. Everything’s cut up for you already, so it made it easy to eat the good stuff.

I cut out all the bread, pizza, chips, and cookies and just kept eating fresh food at the cafeteria. Before you know it, I lost 30 pounds in six months. That gave me the boost I needed to keep eating smarter and start working out.
