This is an exciting time as I join ThedaCare on our journey of healthcare innovation. ThedaCare has a rich tradition of excellence and leadership in healthcare, which has impressed me tremendously over the years. We will carry on our mission to improve the health of the communities we serve with the same zest and vigor that we have up to this point, while transforming healthcare for Northeast Wisconsin.
I’ve learned a lot about ThedaCare and Wisconsin during the past few months, strengthening my belief that this is where I am meant to be. The mission, values and goals of the organization completely resonate with me, and I am so impressed with the people at ThedaCare. They are the true bearers of the mission, and it’s what they do every day that makes the difference in the lives of the people we are blessed to serve. My predecessor, Dean Gruner, helped create this amazing environment, and I am grateful for his leadership and to follow in his footsteps.
As I have joined ThedaCare, many team members have taken the time to say hello and share their work as well as their personal stories. We have a culture of pride and respect. We care deeply about our communities, friends and neighbors, and each other! Because of our great team, ThedaCare is and continues to be poised to be a great healthcare organization today and into the future.
We have important work ahead of us and a compelling vision to create the next generation of healthcare. Our patients want to be at home and healthy. They are increasingly seeking convenient, accessible care offered on their terms. We will build on the strong foundation already in place to deliver this.
The future is bright for the health and well-being of the communities ThedaCare serves. I’m looking forward to everything we will achieve together.
