Message Boards Part of Rebranding at Manawa and Weyauwega Clinics

Visitors to ThedaCare Physicians in Manawa and Weyauwega this week will enjoy new colorful message boards that highlight stories from patients, providers and the community. Each board contains real life pictures of real people telling real stories.

The message boards are part of an organization-wide rebranding initiative launched by ThedaCare at the end of 2014. Outside signs with the new name and logo will be installed at the end of July. Waupaca and Iola clinics are also changing their signs at the same time.

In the Manawa message board, Mary tells about how she visited her nurse practitioner Tina Bettin at ThedaCare Physicians-Manawa because of a rash on her stomach. The next thing she knew, she was undergoing a battery of tests that revealed an infection as well as diabetes and high blood pressure. Mary appreciates the 25 year relationship she has with Bettin, who has been able to provide the support and advice she needed to make healthy lifestyle changes. Bettin said Mary took the tools she needed to change her life and ran with it. She assisted Mary but said the journey was a partnership.

The Weyauwega message board is the story of Zach, who was 17 when he was diagnosed with multiple sclerosis. ThedaCare has been there every step of the way, from his health to his mission to hold a walk for MS. ThedaCare has provided Zach with the financial support for an event that has grown bigger and bigger.

Message boards and the rebranding transformation have already taken place in New London and are rolling out now in at the hospital and clinic in Waupaca.
