Struggling? We can help.

Last updated: November 2, 2020

While COVID-19 may be well known for its physical symptoms, it’s proving to have devastating mental and emotional side effects as well. ThedaCare and the surrounding community have joined forces to prioritize this critical need and ensure access to behavioral health services and treatment.

If you, or someone you love, is experiencing anxiety, depression, loss or uncertainty, please remember:

You are not alone.

It’s easy to feel isolated in times of social distancing. The truth is, this new normal has altered life for everyone. In addition to missing friends and loved ones, and putting major life events and celebrations on hold, many of us find ourselves in one or more of the following scenarios:

  • Unemployed or furloughed and struggling to meet basic needs
  • Students missing out on milestones and memories associated with a traditional academic year
  • Healthcare and other essential workers putting in long hours and facing potential exposure
  • Small business owners struggling to stay operational
  • Parents juggling working from home while caring for and homeschooling their children
  • Single adults navigating the uncertainty without immediate human connection
  • Victims of substance abuse trying to avoid unhealthy coping methods
  • Family members caring for or grieving the loss of COVID-19 positive loved ones

The longer we are separated from life as we knew it, the more vulnerable we’re likely to feel. But rest assured, there is hope and help nearby.

We are here for you.

When we say we are all in this together, we mean it. Our entire network of caregivers is dedicated to supporting our community and ThedaCare team members during this difficult time.

ThedaCare Behavioral Health is accepting new patients and is well-staffed to provide timely, accessible care to all, including those in our rural service areas with less immediate access to other community resources. Phone or video visits with one of our behavioral health specialists are available for outpatient psychiatry, substance abuse and mental health therapy.
