Catherine Allen, APNP

Nurse Practitioner, Pain Management, ThedaCare Orthopedic Care

“Chronic pain is debilitating. I believe it’s crucial to actively listen to patients and assist them in finding a path to improve their daily lives and functionality. Finding options to reduce their symptoms and increase function is key to improving their overall well-being.

“I love that I have an opportunity to assist a patient with improving their quality of life. From a young age, I have felt a strong inclination to lend a helping hand to those around me. Choosing a path of nursing has allowed me to touch many lives.”

“My primary goal is to provide timely and effective care, addressing the whole patient and including them in the decision-making of their health. It’s important to me to educate patients about their diagnosis, treatment options, and preventive measures.

“The variety of meeting the unique needs of patients from various age demographics in an urgent care setting makes the day both challenging and incredibly rewarding.

“I specialize in Medications for Opioid Use Disorder (MOUD), transgender services, and women’s health.”
