Ann Hefter, AGAC-NP, MSN, BSN

Nurse Practitioner, ThedaCare Cardiovascular Care

“I believe in educating my patients so they can make informed decisions about their treatment options. It’s important for patients to understand the risks, benefits, and alternatives so we can work together to develop a plan of care that aligns with their preferences, values, and lifestyle.

“Having the opportunity to connect and work with my patients is the most fulfilling aspect of my job. Knowing that I am making a positive impact on their lives by helping them achieve their health goals is very satisfying.”

Family Medicine Nurse Practitioner, ThedaCare Physicians-Shawano

“My approach to care comes from the perspective and reality that it is not one size fits all. I chose family practice with the goal of promoting lifelong well-being and offering preventive care. My aim is to be there for my patients throughout every stage of life.

“I want to make a meaningful impact in my patients’ lives by discovering their extraordinary qualities. I believe an individualized plan must address each person’s unique lifestyle, health condition, and overall needs.”

“I believe in building trusting relationships and communicating effectively with empathy and transparency. I partner with my patients to develop a plan of care that is personalized to them for a positive outcome.”

JoAnn Tart, BSN, MSN, FNP

“My goal is to ensure that patients understand the procedure and the anticipated progression of their medical issue. I educate them about their choices and empower them to actively engage in the decision-making process regarding their treatment plan.

“What I like most about urgent care is being able to make a significant and immediate impact on patients’ lives. From diagnosis to treatment, I help provide much-needed relief and care for those in distress.”
