Elizabeth Besenhofer, PharmD

“Navigating the health care system can prove challenging for patients, and my purpose is to ensure they receive guidance to avoid any oversights or gaps in their journey.

“Throughout school and my residency program, I had the opportunity to work with cardiology in areas like anticoagulation, managing hypertension, and working specifically with heart failure patients. I enjoy being a part of the interdisciplinary team that collaboratively supports and assists these patients.”

Jordan Der, MD

Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation, ThedaCare Medical Center-Orthopedic, Spine and Pain and ThedaCare Orthopedic Care-Berlin

“My primary goal is to help individuals regain function, improve mobility, and enhance their overall quality of life. Witnessing the progress and transformation in my patients as they recover from injuries, manage chronic conditions, or overcome physical limitations is incredibly rewarding.

“I lead with a focus on patient-centered care. I effectively engage in communication with both the patient and their caregiver, aiming to meet their objectives. I also value the diverse and multidisciplinary aspects of my field, in which I can collaborate with various health care professionals.”

Michael Beckett, MD

Internal Medicine, ThedaCare Physicians Internal Medicine-Neenah

“My approach to care is to ensure that every patient feels valued and respected. I strive to listen and understand their concerns and work collaboratively with them to create a plan of care incorporating the latest medical advances.

“As an internist, I am thankful to be working with a dedicated team of providers, which allows us to collaborate seamlessly in delivering optimal care to our patients. My aim is to cultivate strong relationships with my patients based on trust, honesty, and respect.”

Baylee Gorges, PharmD

Pharmacist, ThedaCare Physicians-Neenah and ThedaCare Physicians-Oshkosh

“My goal is to empower patients in taking charge of their health by effectively managing chronic health conditions, fostering positive lifestyle modifications and promoting the use of guideline-recommended medications to promote longevity.

“As a pharmacist, I get the opportunity to engage in personalized patient care and build meaningful relationships with my patients. I specialize in assisting patients with diabetes and offer medication adjustments and glucose monitoring support.”

Rebecca Kriha, PA-C, Family Medicine

Physician Assistant, The Heritage

“Connecting with patients and their families and actively participating in improving their quality of life is something I truly cherish and love. My health care approach is to take the time to understand each patient’s unique lifestyle and health goals. I offer my senior patients various care options tailored to their preferences, in a manner that feels comfortable and personalized to them.”

Joseph Mayefski, APRN

Advanced Practice Nurse Practitioner, Intensivist, ThedaCare Regional Medical Center-Appleton and ThedaCare Regional Medical Center-Neenah

“An important part of my job is to help patients and their families during a critical time in their life. I work with a multidisciplinary team to treat the entire patient and provide comprehensive care for the best possible outcome. It has always been my philosophy to make sure patients and their families are educated and have the information they need to achieve their health care goals.”

Kaley Mayer, PA-C

Physician Assistant, Endocrinology, Encircle Health and ThedaCare Regional Medical Center-Neenah

“I strive to create an environment where my patients feel comfortable and able to express their concerns and ensure that their voices are heard. I firmly believe that open communication and active listening are fundamental aspects of delivering exceptional patient care.

“Endocrinology holds a special interest for me due to my personal connections with numerous family members and friends who have experienced endocrine disorders. Additionally, I find the intricate anatomy and physiology of the endocrine system to be fascinating.”

Gianina Sibla, MD

Hospitalist, ThedaCare Regional Medical Center-Appleton

“My philosophy regarding patient care revolves around treating everyone with the same level of respect and consideration that I would extend to any of my own family members. I think it’s important to individually tailor treatment plans to accommodate the specific needs and preferences of both patients and their families.

“I find making a major impact on the health of my patients and seeing the progress from admission to discharge to be very rewarding. I am happy to be a part of their healing process, working collaboratively to overcome their health care challenges.”

Hanna Sipple, PA-C

Physician Assistant, Hospitalist, ThedaCare Regional Medical Center-Appleton and ThedaCare Regional Medical Center-Neenah

“The best part about my job is interacting with my patients — whether it be helping them understand their medical conditions, keeping them updated on recent developments, or engaging in conversation during each visit. I believe we achieve the best outcomes when everyone involved is working together. This contributes to a higher level of collaboration, coordination, and delivery of safe, high-quality care.”

Kristi Skrinska, MSN

Advanced Practice Nurse Practitioner, Psychiatry, ThedaCare Behavioral Health

“My approach to care is individualized and rooted in evidence-based practice. My goal is to present the best possible treatment options and support patients in finding what will work for them. I enjoy getting to know my patients, understanding their priorities, and providing them with support to meet their health care needs and goals. It’s an honor to be a part of their wellness journey.”

Emily Strahota, PA-C

“I take a holistic approach to health care and provide comprehensive care that encompasses the whole person — mind, body, and soul. Recognizing that each patient has unique needs, I strive to personalize their treatment accordingly. Education plays a key role in orthopedics, as it empowers individuals to comprehend their condition and explore all available treatment choices.”
