High school basketball senior Emmitt Konieczny and his mother were driving to Lakeland University when another car crossed the center line, crashing into theirs, head-on. Emmitt was flown to ThedaCare Regional Medical Center-Neenah for emergency surgery. This week the family returned to ThedaCare to thank their caregivers.
