ThedaCare Announcs COVID-19 Testing Locations Through October 2021

Ensuring Access to Testing for Northeast and Central Wisconsin

ThedaCare continues working with state and local health officials to coordinate mobile COVID-19 testing sites and dates. As COVID-19 cases continue to rise due to the more-contagious and more-severe Delta variant, the demand for testing is also increasing. ThedaCare is announcing mobile testing locations through the month of October to ensure access for those living in Northeast and Central Wisconsin.

In addition to the COVID-19 vaccine, to help manage community spread of COVID-19, testing is critical. Testing gives health systems insight to the breadth and depth of those infected in our communities, and help better understand the spread of the virus. ThedaCare encourages community members to be tested if they are experiencing symptoms of COVID-19. Appointments for mobile testing are required, and individuals should pre-register online at doineedacovid19test.com.

Rapid testing: Most results within 15 minutes. PCR testing: Most results within 24-48 hours.

The drive-through testing is free and is available to all community members experiencing symptoms, those who believe they may have been exposed to someone with COVID-19 and anyone who is worried about possibly having the virus. Appointments are required. Individuals should pre-register online at doineedacovid19test.com. You do not need to be a ThedaCare patient to receive a test. Those seeking testing do not need to be a resident of the community where these testing sites are located. Individuals under 18 years old must have a parent or legal guardian present to consent. Results will be given online, or through a phone call if necessary.

For those unsure about their symptoms and want more information about whether or not they should seek testing, they can access the ThedaCare online symptom checker at thedacare.org/covid19. After completing a brief questionnaire about their symptoms, individuals will be given more information about next steps to take, including how to schedule a test. The site also includes information about COVID-19, testing, online care options and other important news and updates.
